About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for the procurement of a Transducer with 0-5VDC output, model TR-TD1-SP5 (Contract #2098701). This is a straightforward goods procurement posted on April 13, 2026, with a bid due date of April 20, 2026, allowing bidders seven days to prepare and submit their responses. Vendors must access the detailed specifications and bid table through BONFIRE registration by initiating the "Prepare Your Submission" process on the opportunity page. The primary objective is to acquire the specified transducer unit that meets DART's technical requirements for 0-5VDC output functionality. Key operational requirements include strict adherence to delivery schedules, as time and rate of deliveries are deemed essential to the order, with failure to meet delivery specifications potentially resulting in rejection and default termination. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, and sellers must provide commercial warranties ensuring merchantable quality and full compliance with product specifications. Invoices must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and include the purchase order number, item number, description, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals, with payment terms established at Net 30 from the later of invoice receipt or order receipt date.
The solicitation documentation does not explicitly identify any set-aside designations for disadvantaged or minority-owned enterprises, nor does it reference incumbent vendors or current contractors for this specific transducer procurement. No incumbent contractor information or existing infrastructure integration requirements are noted in the available documentation. The contract opportunity does require standard compliance certifications, including equal opportunity provisions and certifications regarding foreign terrorist organizations and Israel boycott prohibitions, along with representations that no Authority officials have pecuniary interests in the transaction. DART reserves the right to make changes to orders with equitable adjustments to price or schedule, provided sellers assert any related claims within 30 days of receiving change orders. The specific award value or budget range for this transducer procurement is not disclosed in the posted opportunity information, and vendors should contact DART directly through the BONFIRE portal or the provided email address (APInvoices@dart.org) for additional financial details or clarifications.
