About this opportunity
The Florida Department of Financial Services, Division of Insurance Agent and Agency Services, is procuring Transactional Broadcast Email Services to deliver statutorily required communications to insurance licensees on-demand via email. The Department is seeking to integrate a Transactional Broadcast Email Services application that can provide this functionality. Prospective vendors have until February 9, 2023 at 2:45 PM (ET) to provide relevant information on their ability to supply the requested services. If it is determined that the services are only available from a single source, the Department will post notice of its intended decision to enter into an agreement with that vendor.
The incumbent vendor is IMARCSGROUP.COM, L.L.C. (IMARCSGROUP), which has developed an email distribution software application, Internet Marketing Analysis Research Communication System (IMARCS), that meets the Department's requirements. IMARCSGROUP is the sole developer and distributor of the IMARCS platform, and no other vendor can update or modify it. The estimated dollar amount for this single-source acquisition is $24,000.00. The Department is pursuing this single-source purchase to continue using the email distribution software developed by IMARCSGROUP, as other vendors would allow recipients to unsubscribe from the Department's emails and would not offer integration into the Department's existing applications without extensive development.
