About this opportunity
The City of Tampa is soliciting bids for traffic signs under a bid-discount model for use across various city departments, with bids due November 9, 2026. The solicitation incorporates a Small Local Business Enterprise (SLBE) participation requirement based on the payment and invoicing documentation structure referenced in the procurement file.
Bidders must comply with the City of Tampa's ADA Requirements document, which mandates accessibility conformance to WCAG 2.2 Level AA and Section 508 standards for any information, communication, or technology products included in the response. Proposers must submit an Accessibility Conformance Report and Supplemental Accessibility Report documenting evaluation methods, accessibility features, non-conforming functions, remediation plans, and configuration guidance. The City reserves the right to require demonstrations and hands-on testing of proposed ICT solutions prior to award, with testing products from unsuccessful bidders returned at their expense.
Traffic sign specifications and quantities are detailed in the complete bidding documents. All materials and manufacturing processes must comply with OSHA Safety Data Sheet (SDS) requirements; bidders should reference relevant SDS documentation for chemical composition, hazard identification, and worker safety protocols applicable to sign production and installation.
Vendors must adhere to the City's Cybersecurity Provisions exhibit, which applies to all City purchasing agreements. This requirement mandates compliance with GDPR, CCPA, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, PCI-DSS, CJIS, and HIPAA; maintenance of administrative, technical, and physical controls; incident notification within forty-eight hours; and data residency within continental United States data centers unless written consent is obtained. The City reserves the right to terminate for noncompliance with ten days' notice to remedy, unless an immediate security threat exists.
