About this opportunity

Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) is requesting bids on three equipment attachments for delivery to multiple state park locations, with bids due August 21, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Central Time under IFB 802-26-78071. No set-asides or preference programs are specified.

The scope comprises one Bucket Replacement Sweeper/Broom for Hueco Tanks State Historic Site (El Paso), one Articulating Brush Cutter for Dinosaur Valley State Park (Glen Rose), and one Skid Steer Tree Shear for Lake Mineral Wells State Park (Mineral Wells). All equipment must be new, manufacturer-warranted, and ready for continuous operation upon delivery. Bidders must specify brand and model, provide delivery timeframes from order receipt, and submit product documentation (brochures, specification sheets, product illustrations) demonstrating compliance with detailed technical requirements including equipment compatibility, dimensions, and weight specifications. TPWD reserves the right to award to multiple vendors and increase or decrease quantities based on bid results and budget constraints.

Pricing must be FOB Destination with all shipping, handling, fuel surcharges, and delivery fees included in unit prices. Equipment must be delivered fully assembled and unloaded at each site at no additional cost, as TPWD lacks loading dock facilities. Payment will be made within 30 days of receipt of properly prepared invoices and acceptance of goods under Texas Government Code Chapter 2251. Bid responses remain binding for 60 business days from the due date. Bids may be submitted via email to Purchasing.BidBox@tpwd.texas.gov or by mail to TPWD Purchasing and Contracting, 4200 Smith School Road, Austin, TX 78744. All bids must be submitted on the provided IFB form and signed by an authorized representative; unsigned bids are disqualified. Award will be based on best value considerations including price, qualifications, delivery schedule, past performance, and life cycle costs. Standard TPWD General Terms and Conditions apply, including E-Verify, insurance, indemnification, and federal and state compliance certifications.
