Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is requesting bids on 13 tilt deck trailers across six configurations for the State Parks Division under IFB 802-26-78105, with bids due August 12, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Central Time.
The procurement spans two 14,000-pound GVWR deckover tilt trailers; two 14,000-pound GVWR heavy-duty gooseneck deckover tilt trailers; one 20,000-pound GVWR gooseneck wide-deck lowboy tilt trailer; three 16,000-pound GVWR bumper-pull lowboy tilt-deck trailers; two 20,000-pound GVWR bumper-pull wide-deck lowboy tilt trailers; and three 9,990 to 14,000-pound GVWR heavy-duty full-tilt trailers. All units must be new equipment only with manufacturer's standard warranties and must include hydraulic systems, LED lighting, safety equipment, and spare-tire mounts. Delivery location is TPWD Headquarters Fleet Division in Austin, Texas.
Bidders must quote unit prices on an FOB destination basis including shipping, handling, fuel surcharges, delivery fees, and offloading costs, and must specify delivery time in calendar days after receipt of order. Delivery is not considered complete until units fully comply with specifications and are accepted by TPWD within five working days of receipt. The contract commences upon issuance and automatically expires upon delivery and final acceptance.
TPWD reserves the right to award to multiple vendors based on best-value criteria considering lowest price, ability and qualifications, delivery schedule, past performance, life-cycle costs, and installation costs. Respondents must submit original Manufacturer's Statement of Origin, Application for Texas Title, proof of inspection for units over 7,500 pounds GVWR, and invoices showing vehicle identification numbers to the Fleet Manager within the specified timeframe. A Certificate of Interested Parties is required if the contract value exceeds one million dollars. TPWD reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities prior to award based on bid results and budget constraints.
