About this opportunity
Gwinnett County Department of Financial Services is requesting informal written quotations for treated timber poles for use by the Gwinnett County Department of Transportation, with quotations due November 11, 2021 at 5:00 p.m.
The scope comprises thirty Class 2, .60 CCA treated timber poles in three specifications: twelve 35-foot poles, twelve 40-foot poles, and six 45-foot poles. Addendum 1, issued November 8, 2021, revised quantities for the first two line items to eleven units each while leaving the third line item unchanged. No framing or holes are required. Vendors must provide three references demonstrating similar project scope and size. The County reserves the right to request product samples at the vendor's expense within five business days to verify equivalency to specifications.
Delivery is FOB Destination to Gwinnett County DOT at 620 Winder Highway, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30045, attention Dustin Phillips. All unit pricing must include delivery charges. Vendors must propose specific calendar-day delivery commitments rather than general timelines. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; the County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, make partial awards, or award to multiple vendors.
Vendors must submit complete bid schedules, specification compliance sheets, any applicable addenda (signature required on Addendum 1), and certification of non-collusion. The County is exempt from federal excise tax and Georgia sales tax; contractors are responsible for applicable taxes on materials. Electronic payment is required upon award, with vendors selecting either virtual credit card or direct deposit. A Contractor Affidavit and Agreement is required if the contract value exceeds $2,499.99. All contractors must comply with Georgia's Illegal Immigration Reform Enhancements for 2013 worker verification requirements. Contact Lindsay Gravitt at 770-822-7833 for additional information.
