About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for a digital thermostat, specifically a 24VAC model with the procurement number 2097145. This procurement opportunity is located in Dallas County, Texas, and requires potential vendors to complete registration through the Bonfire platform to access full bid details. The procurement is for a specific digital thermostat with technical specifications that will require precise matching to DART's infrastructure needs. Interested vendors must submit their bids by December 23, 2025, ensuring compliance with DART's strict procurement guidelines. Bidders are required to provide comprehensive pricing that includes FOB Destination shipping terms, with freight costs fully integrated into the overall price. All submissions must adhere to DART's purchase order terms and conditions, which mandate detailed invoicing procedures, including submission of invoices in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org with specific documentation requirements such as purchase order number, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.

No specific set-aside designations or enterprise restrictions were explicitly detailed in the provided documentation. The procurement appears open to standard commercial vendors capable of meeting DART's technical and logistical requirements. Payment terms are consistently Net 30, with invoices processed 30 days from receipt of either the invoice or order, whichever occurs later. While no specific award value or budget range was specified for this digital thermostat procurement, vendors should be prepared to provide competitive pricing aligned with DART's operational standards. The agency reserves the right to terminate purchase orders for vendor non-performance, emphasizing the importance of precise delivery schedules and complete adherence to specified contractual terms. Vendors must demonstrate capability to meet DART's stringent delivery expectations, understanding that time and delivery rates are considered essential components of the procurement process.
