TFD Nylon Special Padded 5mm turf for batting cage (no substitutions)

City of Tampa Parks & Recreation Department is soliciting quotes under RFQ 27-P-00034 for two rolls of TFD Nylon Special Padded 5mm artificial turf for outdoor batting cages, with quotes due November 2, 2026. The solicitation permits no substitutions for the named TFD product, which limits eligible bids to that specific turf.

The opportunity is listed under Hillsborough County jurisdiction, while the attached RFQ identifies the City of Tampa as issuer. The listing describes two rolls delivered to 4001 W Spruce St, Tampa, Florida 33607. The attached RFQ summary instead lists three rolls and 4001 N Spruce Street, so the quantity and address should be confirmed against the solicitation document before pricing.

Each roll measures 60 feet long by 12 feet wide. The turf is texturized nylon with 5mm foam padding, weighs 131 ounces, is Turf Green, and has a 1/2-inch pile height. Delivery is Freight On Board (FOB) Destination, with shipping, handling, and freight included in the quoted price. Quotes must be submitted electronically through the OpenGov solicitation system and remain valid for a minimum of 60 days. The City may award by division, line item, or aggregate total and may increase or decrease quantities without penalty.

Before award, vendors must provide proof of insurance and comply with E-Verify requirements, Florida Public Records Law, the City of Tampa Ethics Code, non-discrimination requirements, and the indemnification obligations in the RFQ's General Conditions. Payment is made approximately 30 days after receipt and acceptance of materials and correct invoices, under the Florida Prompt Payment Act (Sections 218.70–218.79, Florida Statutes).
