About this opportunity

The state and local contract opportunity is issued by Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) for TESSCO TECHNOLOGIES items, referenced by solicitation numbers 2095976, 2095981, and 2095982. The procurement requires potential vendors to register through Bonfire to access complete bid details and submit proposals. The opportunity is specifically located in Dallas County, Texas, with a bid posting date of November 25, 2025, and a submission deadline of December 2, 2025. Vendors must adhere to specific procurement requirements, including FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in overall pricing. Critical delivery terms emphasize that time and delivery rates are essential, with potential order rejection and default termination if sellers fail to meet specified delivery parameters. Vendors must submit invoices electronically to APInvoices@dart.org, including comprehensive documentation such as purchase order number, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.

The procurement does not explicitly detail set-aside designations or specific restrictions on responding organizations. However, the purchase order terms include requirements for equal opportunity employment and certifications regarding terrorist organization connections and Israel boycotts. Vendors must comply with Texas law, with any legal proceedings to be conducted in Dallas County. Payment terms are standardized at Net 30, with invoices processed 30 days from receipt or order receipt, whichever is later. The contract includes comprehensive commercial warranty provisions mandating that all supplies, services, or construction be of merchantable quality and suitable for intended use. While specific award values are not disclosed in the provided documentation, the procurement appears to be a standard purchase order with potential for ongoing vendor relationship based on performance and compliance with DART's stringent terms and conditions.

In such event, the Seller shall be liable for damages, including the excess cost of reprocuring similar supplies or services or completing construction; provided that, if (i) it is determined for any reason that the Seller was not in default, or (ii) the Seller's failure to perform is without his and his subcontractor's control, fault, or negligence, the termination shall be deemed to be a termination for convenience under paragraph 12.
