About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking to procure a specific terminal ring hardware component, identified by reference number 2094265, for a procurement opportunity posted on July 26, 2025, with a response deadline of July 31, 2025. The specific item being procured is a TERMINAL, RING, HD, 3/8" STUD, 4GA, which appears to be a specialized electrical or mechanical hardware component. Potential vendors must complete registration through the Bonfire platform to access full bid details and submit responses. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, and DART emphasizes that delivery timing and rates are critical, with potential for rejection or default termination if delivery specifications are not met. Vendors must adhere to DART's purchase order terms and conditions, which are detailed in the attached PDF document and include specific invoice submission requirements, payment terms of Net 30, and comprehensive contractual expectations. Prospective bidders must carefully review the full documentation and ensure compliance with all specified requirements.

While the procurement documents do not explicitly outline specific set-aside designations or enterprise restrictions, the terms indicate a comprehensive and competitive bidding process. The purchase order terms include important certifications, such as a commitment to not conducting business with foreign terrorist organizations and a non-boycott of Israel clause. The contract will be governed under Dallas County, Texas jurisdiction, with legal venues established in this location. No specific incumbent vendors or existing infrastructure integration requirements are explicitly mentioned in the available documentation. The procurement appears to be for a specific hardware component, suggesting a potentially limited award value focused on the precise technical specifications of the terminal ring. Vendors should note the strict adherence to DART's terms, including detailed inspection and acceptance procedures, commercial warranty requirements, and potential for order termination for non-compliance.
