About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) in Dallas County, Texas, is seeking to procure a specific terminal hardware item identified as a TERMINAL, RING, HD, 3/8" STUD (Solicitation #2096549). The procurement opportunity was posted on December 11, 2025, with proposals due by December 18, 2025. Vendors must complete Bonfire registration to access full bid details and must submit responses through the platform's in-browser BidTable window. The procurement requires strict adherence to DART's Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, with specific logistics requirements including FOB Destination shipping terms and freight costs incorporated into overall pricing. Delivery performance is critically important, with time and delivery rates considered essential contract elements; failure to meet specified delivery schedules could result in order rejection and default termination. Vendors must submit invoices electronically to APInvoices@dart.org in triplicate, including detailed documentation such as purchase order number, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.

While no specific set-aside designations or disadvantaged enterprise requirements are explicitly stated in the available documentation, the procurement appears open to qualified vendors who can meet DART's stringent performance and documentation standards. The contract includes standard payment terms of Net 30, with invoices processed 30 days from receipt. Vendors are required to comply with commercial warranty standards, equal employment opportunity practices, and legal restrictions including prohibitions on boycotting Israel or contracting with designated Foreign Terrorist Organizations. The procurement's governing law will be Texas state law, with any legal venue located in Dallas County. Although a specific award value is not provided in the available documents, the procurement appears focused on a specific hardware component, suggesting a targeted, potentially modest contract scope. Interested vendors must carefully review the full Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document and ensure complete compliance with all specified requirements to be considered for the contract opportunity.
