About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) has issued a procurement opportunity for a specific terminal, blade, and female component with requisition number 2094367. The solicitation was posted on August 11, 2025, with responses due by August 14, 2025, and requires mandatory registration through the Bonfire platform to access full bid details. This procurement appears to be for a specific technical component, likely related to transit infrastructure or equipment maintenance. Vendors must submit bids reflecting FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, and adhere to DART's strict delivery requirements where time and delivery rates are critical. Potential suppliers must follow specific invoice submission guidelines, including sending triplicate invoices to APInvoices@dart.org with detailed line-item information. Evaluation criteria are not explicitly detailed in the available documentation, but vendors must comply with comprehensive purchase order terms and conditions outlined in the attached PDF document.

The solicitation does not explicitly specify set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged business enterprises. However, the purchase order terms include robust equal employment opportunity provisions and require vendors to certify they are not on lists of companies contracting with foreign terrorist organizations or boycotting Israel. Payment terms are standardized at Net 30, with invoices to be paid 30 days from receipt of invoice or order. While specific award value or budget range is not disclosed, the procurement appears to be for a specific technical component with precise specifications. The contract will be governed under Texas state law, and vendors must provide commercially warranted supplies of merchantable quality suitable for their intended purpose. Potential respondents should carefully review the comprehensive purchase order terms and conditions document, which provides extensive legal and operational requirements for vendors seeking to do business with DART.
