About this opportunity
The University of Texas at Arlington is soliciting bids under IFB UTA27-Tennis Court Resurface and Repair-DP for the resurfacing and repair of ten tennis courts on its campus, with a non-mandatory pre-bid conference and site walkthrough today, October 29, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., and bids due November 11, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. CST. The solicitation identifies no set-asides.
The work covers comprehensive court restoration at 909 Greek Row Drive, Arlington, Texas 76013, in Tarrant County and Arlington City. The IFB was issued October 21, 2026. Bidders must submit electronically through BidNet Direct, on the IFB form or as directed in BidNet. Questions are due November 3, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. CST.
Award is best value, weighing purchase price, vendor reputation, quality of goods or services, extent to which services meet university needs, vendor's past relationship with UTA, impact on historically underutilized business compliance, impact on disability-related procurement compliance, long-term costs, compliance with university terms and conditions, compliance with insurance requirements, and any other factors a private business entity would consider.
Pricing must be FOB destination, freight prepaid and allowed, with unit prices governing over extension errors. Bid prices are firm for acceptance within 30 days after the bid due date. The university is exempt from state sales tax and federal excise tax, and those taxes are excluded from evaluation. Payment terms are net 30, the contract is governed by Texas law, and the university's Purchase Order Terms and Conditions apply to any resulting order.
Before award, vendors must register in the university's PaymentWorks supplier portal at www.paymentworks.com and possess a Federal Employer Identification Number. Bidders must also comply with university terms and conditions, insurance requirements, parking and campus access requirements, and cybersecurity training completion. If services are required during the event, bidders must attest to CDC Coronavirus guideline compliance. Cloud computing services compliance applies where applicable.
