About this opportunity
SUNY Cortland is seeking qualified vendors to provide teletherapy and mental health counseling services for its student population through an electronic platform. The procurement opportunity focuses on securing a vendor capable of facilitating online mental health counseling via video, phone, and message therapy technologies. Key deliverables include providing access to a digital platform where students can connect with licensed counselors, generating standardized utilization reports with de-identified aggregated mental health data, and developing marketing materials to introduce services to students. The vendor must maintain a network of mental health providers licensed to practice in New York State and be capable of comprehensive service delivery. Prospective bidders are required to register with the Red Dragon Sourcing electronic bidding system at https://cortland.ionwave.net/VendorRegistration/PreliminaryInfo.aspx, with all bids submitted through this online platform. The solicitation was posted on September 11, 2024, with proposals due by October 2, 2024, at 3:00 PM, and the anticipated contract term is one year covering all New York State counties.
The contract does not include any specific set-aside designations for disadvantaged businesses, with 0% goals for minority-owned, women-owned, and service-disabled veteran-owned sub-contracting. The previous contractor for this service was UWill, Inc. (formerly Christie Campus Health, LLC), which suggests some existing technological infrastructure might be in place for potential integration. While no specific budget range is disclosed, the procurement is for a comprehensive mental health service platform serving SUNY Cortland's student population. The solicitation indicates that similar goods or services have been purchased from out-of-state or foreign vendors within the past three years, which may signal openness to vendors beyond New York State. Interested vendors should carefully review all bidding requirements and ensure they can meet the technical and service delivery specifications outlined in the procurement documents.
