About this opportunity

Stony Brook University Hospital is seeking proposals for a Telesitting System and Related Items through a state and local contract opportunity in Suffolk County, New York. The procurement involves acquiring a comprehensive telesitting system or an approved equivalent, with vendors required to demonstrate clinical and operational equivalency through detailed documentation. Potential bidders must submit their proposals by December 3, 2024, at 11:00 AM, with the only permissible contact being the designated procurement officer. The procurement is subject to NYS Finance Law 139 j&k (Lobbying Law), which imposes strict communication guidelines and potential penalties for non-compliance. Successful contractors must complete and submit various compliance documents, including Vendor Responsibility forms, NYS Finance Law 139 documentation, NYS Tax Law Section 5-a paperwork, and current NYS Workman's Compensation and Disability Forms.

The contract is structured as a one-time purchase applicable to all NYS counties, with the primary location being Stony Brook, NY. No service-disabled veteran-owned business set-aside has been specified for this procurement. No business entities have been identified as having been awarded an identical or substantially similar contract within the past five years. The procurement does not appear to have specific restrictions on bidder qualifications beyond the standard state and local compliance documentation. While no specific award value or budget range is provided in the documentation, the nature of the procurement suggests it is for a specialized telesitting system and related technological infrastructure. Vendors interested in participating must carefully review the full specifications and ensure complete adherence to the stated procurement requirements and submission guidelines.
