TDC Pineapple Furniture Chairs & Table

The Tiffin Developmental Center (TDC), located in Shelby County, Ohio, is soliciting quotes for specific furniture procurement involving five Snug Plus Modular Seats and one Cumulus Plus Rectangular Dining Table. The procurement opportunity was posted on September 26, 2025, with proposals due by October 17, 2025. The modular seating specifications include five chairs - two in Gray (7064.02) and three in Dark Gray/Black (7064.03) - featuring plywood reinforcement, fully enclosed bases, and water-resistant vinyl covering. Each chair measures 35" H x 35.4" W x 86" D, weighs 88 lbs, and is statically weight tested to 1,000 lbs. The accompanying rectangular dining table measures 29.1"H x 70.8" W x 35.4" D, weighs 279.5 lbs, and can accommodate eight people, with a laminate surface top featuring rounded PVC impact edging in Anthracite color and supported by two 12" diameter steel pedestals.

While no specific set-aside designations or restrictions were explicitly detailed in the procurement documents, the specifications suggest a specialized furniture procurement for a developmental center. The attached specification sheet does not indicate incumbent vendors, existing infrastructure requirements, or specific integration needs. Similarly, no precise award value or budget range was provided in the available documentation. The procurement appears focused on acquiring specific, high-durability furniture pieces designed for institutional settings, with particular attention to weight capacity, material resilience, and spatial dimensions. Potential vendors would need to carefully match the exact specifications outlined in the Pineapple Furniture specifications sheet, which includes precise measurements, material compositions, and color requirements for both the modular seating and rectangular dining table.
