About this opportunity
The Maryland Department of Information Technology is requesting proposals for renewal of Tanium Cloud Annual Maintenance Licensing under a Small Business Reserve procurement, with proposals due December 3, 2026, but note that the attached PORFP document states an earlier deadline of March 12, 2026 at 2:00 PM — clarification of the controlling due date is essential before pursuing.
This procurement is restricted to two categories: vendors must be certified by the GOSBA Small Business Reserve Program under Maryland State Finance and Procurement Article sections 14-501 through 14-505, and only Master Contractors currently awarded contracts under the Commercial Off-the-Shelf Software (COTS 2012) master contract (060B2490021) are eligible to submit bids. Current Master Contractors may submit a Letter of Authorization with their proposals.
The scope is 13,500 licenses of Tanium Cloud annual licensing renewal software. All responding Master Contractors must be authorized resellers for Tanium and must provide a current Letter of Authorization from the manufacturer along with Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price documentation. Pricing must remain valid for at least 90 days following the bid due date, and vendors must provide estimated ship dates and lead times for each item.
Place of performance is 100 Community Place, Crownsville, Maryland 21032. Evaluation criteria focus primarily on price, with award going to the responsive and responsible Master Contractor offering the most advantageous offer. Invoices must be submitted to doitfiscal.invoiceservice@gmail.com and include all required documentation per COMAR 21.06.09.01 and .02. Electronic submission through the State's eMaryland Marketplace Advantage (eMMA) e-Procurement system is mandatory.
