About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking a procurement of synthetic PTFE multipurpose grease, specifically a 400G product with NLGI Grade 2, identified by reference number 2094257. The solicitation was posted on July 26, 2025, with proposals due by July 31, 2025, covering a procurement in Dallas County, Texas. Vendors must complete Bonfire registration to access detailed bid specifications and must submit their response through the platform's in-browser BidTable window. Delivery terms are critical, with DART emphasizing that time and delivery rates are essential, and failure to meet specified delivery parameters could result in order rejection or default termination. Vendors must adhere to FOB Destination shipping terms, including freight costs in the overall price, and DART will not typically accept alternative shipping arrangements. The procurement requires comprehensive documentation, including invoices submitted electronically to APInvoices@dart.org with specific detailed information such as purchase order number, item description, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.

While no specific set-aside designations or disadvantaged enterprise requirements are explicitly outlined in the provided documentation, vendors must meet several compliance and certification requirements. Potential respondents must verify they are not associated with foreign terrorist organizations and do not boycott Israel. DART will apply standard payment terms of Net 30, with invoices processed 30 days from receipt or 30 days from order receipt, whichever is later. The procurement is subject to DART's comprehensive Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which include provisions for commercial warranties, equal opportunity employment commitments, and restrictions on order assignments without prior written consent. The organization is exempt from Texas state and local sales taxes, which vendors should acknowledge. Though a specific award value is not specified, the solicitation suggests this is a targeted procurement for a specific quantity of specialized multipurpose grease, likely for DART's operational maintenance needs. Vendors must demonstrate capability to provide high-quality, merchantable goods suitable for the intended industrial application.
