The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) issued Sealed Bid No. 25-00083-AGAD for the procurement of Motorola Radio Equipment, specifically switches and mates components. This sealed bid procurement solicits competitive bids exclusively through SEPTA's Electronic Procurement System (ePS) website, with the original bid opening date of April 25, 2025, at 10:00 AM subsequently extended to May 6, 2025, at 10:00 AM per Addendum No. 1. All written questions and requests for clarifications must be submitted to Gail Daniels in the Procurement & Supply Chain Management Department at gdaniels@septa.org or (215) 580-6754 by close of business on April 18, 2025, to ensure guaranteed responses, with any modification requests requiring submission at least eight calendar days prior to bid opening. Bids must be submitted electronically only; mailed or hand-delivered bids will be rejected. Successful bidders must maintain firm bids for a minimum of ninety days from the bid opening date, and all bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of Addendum No. 1 by inserting the addendum date on the Bid Addenda Acknowledgement Form and submitting it with their proposal to avoid bid rejection on non-responsiveness grounds. This procurement is subject to the Steel Products Procurement Act of 1978 and is funded through a financial assistance contract between SEPTA and the U.S. Department of Transportation. SEPTA will affirmatively ensure that disadvantaged business enterprises are afforded full opportunity to submit bids and compete on equal footing with other bidders. All contractors and bidders must comply with applicable Equal Employment Opportunity laws and regulations and certify compliance with Executive Order 12549 regarding ineligible contractors; additionally, SEPTA will not discriminate on the grounds of race, sex, color, or national origin in consideration for award in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. No specific award values, budget ranges, incumbent vendor information, or detailed technical specifications beyond the general reference to Motorola Radio Equipment switches and mates are disclosed in the available procurement documents. SEPTA retains the right to reject any and all bids at its sole discretion as determined to be in its best interest.
