About this opportunity

The City of Coral Springs is seeking bids for the supply and delivery of Anionic copolymer of Acrylamide (Polyacrylamide), a chemical used in the treatment of potable drinking water. This procurement opportunity is specifically for a two-year contract with potential renewals for two additional two-year periods, not to exceed a total of six years. The successful contractor will be responsible for furnishing and delivering Polyacrylamide directly to the city's water treatment plant. The bid was posted on July 17, 2025, with proposals due by August 7, 2025. Key deliverables include consistent and reliable supply of the specified chemical compound, with pricing expected to remain firm throughout the contract period, subject to potential cost adjustments. Vendors must be qualified and reputable, demonstrating capability to meet the city's water treatment chemical requirements. The contract's continuation beyond the current fiscal year is contingent upon budgetary fund availability.

While no specific set-aside designations or restrictions on vendor types were explicitly mentioned in the procurement documentation, the contract appears open to qualified chemical suppliers capable of meeting the technical specifications for Polyacrylamide. The procurement is limited to the jurisdictional boundaries of Broward County, with specific reference to Cypress Quarters CDP. Potential bidders should note that estimated expenditures will be subject to budget constraints and fund availability. Although a precise budget range was not specified, the multi-year contract structure suggests a significant and ongoing procurement commitment. Interested vendors should carefully review the full bid documentation to understand the precise chemical specifications, delivery requirements, and potential cost adjustment mechanisms that may impact the contract's financial terms.
