About this opportunity
Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners Procurement Department is requesting sealed bids for the purchase and delivery of submersible well pump motors under term contract IFB #26-062/JC, with bids due July 23, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. Palm Beach County time. The County offers a 5% local preference to bidders with a permanent place of business in Palm Beach County and a 5% Glades local preference for Glades-based businesses; both preferences carry corresponding Small Business Development (SBD) Program participation requirements.
Bidders must provide fixed unit pricing for new merchandise free from defect, with prices remaining firm for ninety days from bid submission and throughout all contract terms and any renewal periods. Sealed bid responses must include one signed paper package and one electronic copy in PDF format on CD or flash drive, submitted to 50 South Military Trail, Suite 110, West Palm Beach, FL 33415-3199. All bidders and subcontractors must be registered in the County's Vendor Self Service system.
The deadline for submitting questions is July 9, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. Palm Beach County time. Recommended awards will be publicly posted for a five-business-day review period prior to final Board approval, and protests must be filed within five business days of the posting date.
Bidders must comply with E-Verify employment eligibility verification and provide federal tax-exempt status documentation for the County. Drug-Free Workplace Certification is required for tie-breaker consideration. The County reserves the right to conduct criminal history records checks on unescorted personnel entering critical or criminal justice information facilities. When a subcontracting goal exists, prime contractors must submit Schedules 1, 2, and 2(a) identifying all subcontractors and subconsultants designated as SBE or Non-SBE, along with dollar amounts or work percentages, to be considered responsive.
