About this opportunity
The City of Grand Junction, located in Mesa County, Colorado, is seeking competitive quotes for a specific Hydromatic S4L1000M4-6 Submersible Solids Handling Sewage Pump for a lift station north of I-70b on 30 Road. This procurement is a direct product purchase requiring electronic submission through the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing website by July 11, 2025, prior to 2:00 PM Mountain Time. The pump specifications include 10 HP, 460/3 voltage, 35' standard cord length, and the capability to handle up to 3" solids. No installation services are included, making this a strictly material acquisition. Bidders must submit a Firm's Quote Form, Price Quote Schedule, and Materials Specification Sheets as part of their response. The targeted purchase order execution date is July 18, 2025, with an expected delivery timeline of 75 calendar days from purchase order receipt. The city reserves the right to return products that do not meet precise specifications and emphasizes that all quotes should include comprehensive pricing covering labor, equipment, supplies, materials, freight, travel, and mobilization costs.
The solicitation does not explicitly indicate specific set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged business enterprises. The procurement appears open to qualified vendors capable of meeting the detailed pump specifications. The city is tax-exempt from Colorado Sales or Use Tax and will utilize a Net 30 days payment term. While no incumbent vendors are mentioned, the procurement suggests a replacement or supplemental pump for existing infrastructure. Though no specific budget range is provided in the documentation, the all-inclusive pricing approach indicates the city expects vendors to provide comprehensive, competitive quotes that cover all associated costs with supplying the specified submersible pump. The city also notes that the quantities indicated are estimates and makes no guarantees about single or aggregate order quantities, suggesting potential flexibility in future procurement needs.
