About this opportunity

The Beaufort Soil and Water Conservation District is requesting quotes for stream debris removal work in Beaufort County and Lasker Town, North Carolina, with quotes due September 14, 2026. The scope includes removal of loose debris, logs, trees that have entered the stream, beaver dams that impede flow or navigation, and trees leaning over the creek at 45 degrees or less — all determinations made by the Project Inspector. All removed material must be handled according to the Streamflow Rehabilitation Assistance Program Processing Recommendations.

Strict prohibitions govern the work: no removal of tree stumps from stream banks, no sediment removal from the stream, and no actions outside the stated instructions without additional permits (which are not allowed). Contractors not following these instructions will be terminated immediately. Vendors must demonstrate experience in specialized stream debris removal work and environmental compliance.

The attached Streamflow Rehabilitation Assistance Program document provides processing specifications and environmental regulatory parameters but does not specify contract value, contract term, funding source, pre-quote meeting or site-visit dates, question-submission deadlines, or other procurement-timeline details in the available summary.
