About this opportunity
The Northwest Florida Water Management District (the District) is seeking qualified firms to provide contractual services for stream debris assessments in northwest Florida. The District is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP 23-003) to identify concentrations of woody debris and other in-stream obstructions, quantify the volume and/or quantity of such debris and obstructions, and identify any site accessibility concerns. The selected Contractor(s) may also be tasked to perform associated work, including characterizing stream channel, habitat, and riparian conditions, and providing other morphology or similar observations with respect to associated flooding potential. The District will award contracts to one or more of the most highly qualified respondents for an initial term of up to three (3) years, with an option for a renewal of up to three (3) additional years at the District's discretion. The proposal deadline is 2:00 P.M. ET on July 24, 2023, and the District will compensate the selected Contractor(s) based on negotiated hourly rates and/or fixed fees for specific Task Orders, with no mark-up allowed for labor, expenses, equipment, travel, or any other costs for subcontractors.
The RFP does not specify any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The District has not identified any incumbent vendors or current contractors, and the procurement does not appear to require integration with any existing infrastructure or technology. The RFP does not provide a specific award value or budget range for the procurement.
