About this opportunity

Texas A&M Forest Service Purchasing Department is requesting bids for leases on nine storage units of varying sizes, with bids due July 15, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Central Time and written questions due July 10, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Central Standard Time.

The scope comprises one 50-square-foot climate-controlled unit, one 100-square-foot climate-controlled unit, one 100-square-foot non-climate-controlled unit, one 150-square-foot climate-controlled unit, and five 200-square-foot climate-controlled units. The vendor's facility must be located within a 10-mile radius of Texas A&M Forest Service headquarters at 200 Technology Way, College Station, Texas 77845. The selected facility must provide 24-hour recorded video security cameras, 24-hour seven-day-a-week access, computerized access security gates, an on-site manager, and external security lighting. Line item bidding is permitted; brokers and third-party agents are not accepted.

The rental period is a minimum of 12 months with options to renew for additional 12-month terms for up to five years total. Bidders must certify compliance with state and federal suspension and debarment requirements, non-boycott of Israel, and non-engagement with Iran, Sudan, or foreign terrorist organizations. The successful bidder must review and agree to Attachment A regarding the rental addendum for vendor lease agreements.

Evaluation criteria include pricing, delivery, vendor capacity and skill, previous experience, and other relevant factors. Texas A&M Forest Service reserves discretion to award based on low line item bid, low total of line items, or any other combination serving agency best interest. Bid prices must remain firm for 12 months from bid opening. Any required addenda will be issued by July 13, 2026.
