About this opportunity
The State of Maine Division of Purchases is soliciting bids for storage equipment for Oracle EMC, with bids due December 21, 2011.
The procurement follows standard State of Maine bidding procedures: bids must be submitted electronically by the closing deadline; late submissions are ineligible. Awards are made to the lowest responsible bidder based on best value, including quality, conformity with specifications, delivery dates, and overall cost. Bidders must provide separate unit prices for each item unless otherwise specified and state delivery time in definite terms; earlier delivery dates may serve as an award factor if time is of the essence.
Pricing must exclude Federal and Maine State sales and use taxes. Bidders should specify terms and cash discounts; only discounts of 20 days or more are considered in evaluation. All transportation charges, including freight and express delivery, are prepaid and borne by the contractor unless otherwise specified. The State reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive formalities or technicalities, accept individual items, and increase or decrease quantities by up to 10 percent unless otherwise stated. The contractor is prohibited from assigning, subletting, or transferring the contract without written consent from the Director. Manufacturers, importers, suppliers, and distributors of hazardous chemicals must provide current Material Safety Data Sheets in compliance with Maine's Chemical Substance Identification Law.
