About this opportunity
The City of Philadelphia is requesting quotes for a steel storage cabinet under a micro purchase Requirements contract, with quotes due July 6, 2026. Award will go to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; sellers must quote all items to be eligible and may not deliver until notified by the department.
Submission of a signed Consent and Authorization Agreement is mandatory prior to bid closing. The agreement must be uploaded to the vendor's PHLContracts profile during registration or attached to the first submitted quote; once confirmed in the system, resubmission is not required for subsequent bids. An LGBTQ Applicant Data Form is available for voluntary submission to facilitate the City's diversity and inclusion tracking; submission carries no impact on award consideration.
The contract term is 365 days from the effective date specified in PHLContracts, with automatic termination at midnight on the final day without further notice. The micro purchase pricing threshold is $45,000, adjusted annually by the percentage increase in Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) from January 1, 2020, to the most recently published CPI-U figure, rounded to the nearest thousand dollars. All quoted prices must be net and exclusive of taxes, as the City is exempt from federal excise, transportation, and Pennsylvania sales and use taxes.
The City reserves the right to accept quotes from multiple sellers, to accept quotes on individual items without accepting all items, and to reject any and all quotes in its sole discretion. All terms and prices remain valid for 60 days from submission or throughout the contract term for Requirements contracts. Sellers must maintain minimum insurance including Workers' Compensation at statutory limits, General Liability of $500,000 per occurrence, and Automobile Liability of $300,000 per occurrence, with the City named as additional insured. Sellers must certify they are not indebted to the City for delinquent taxes or other obligations and must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including Philadelphia's business tax and ethics requirements.
