About this opportunity

The state of Idaho is seeking competitive proposals for a research and analysis project focused on Wildlife Compounded Pharmaceuticals, specifically through the State Solicitation Announcement (SSA) process. This procurement opportunity, identified by contract number 6798e76b3694b85b8a05da72, was posted on January 21, 2025, with proposals due by January 24, 2025. The primary objective appears to be conducting comprehensive research and analysis related to pharmaceutical compounds used in wildlife management, treatment, or conservation efforts. Potential respondents should possess advanced scientific expertise in veterinary pharmaceuticals, wildlife biology, and research methodologies. While specific evaluation criteria are not fully detailed, submissions will likely be assessed on technical capability, scientific approach, research methodology, and demonstrated expertise in wildlife pharmaceutical compounds. Interested vendors must carefully review all solicitation documents and submit comprehensive proposals that demonstrate a rigorous scientific approach to the research objectives by the stated deadline.

The contract opportunity does not explicitly specify set-aside designations or restrictions on respondent types. However, given the specialized nature of the research, prospective bidders will likely need advanced scientific credentials, potentially including doctoral-level qualifications in veterinary science, wildlife biology, or related pharmaceutical research disciplines. Respondents should be prepared to demonstrate significant prior experience in complex wildlife pharmaceutical research projects. While no specific budget range is provided, similar specialized research contracts in state wildlife management typically range from $75,000 to $250,000, depending on project complexity and scope. Potential vendors should be prepared to provide comprehensive documentation of their scientific capabilities, research infrastructure, and prior relevant project experiences. The contract appears to be seeking a highly specialized research partner with deep scientific expertise in wildlife pharmaceutical compounds and advanced analytical capabilities.
