About this opportunity
Plymouth Township Board of Commissioners is seeking sealed bids for the SR 11 Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project, a comprehensive infrastructure improvement initiative involving the replacement of approximately 715 linear feet of sanitary sewer gravity mains. The project specifically includes 290 linear feet of 10-inch gravity main and 425 linear feet of 8-inch gravity main, with associated ancillary work. Bids must be submitted electronically through the PennBid Program website by 12:00 PM local time on Friday, August 29, 2025. Each bid is required to include bid security equal to 10% of the maximum bid price and must be accompanied by various forms, qualification statements, affidavits, and certifications as detailed in the bidding documents. The project is funded through a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of Community and Economic Development, with two potential bid alternates dependent on pricing and available funds. Prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to register as plan holders on the PennBid website to receive official notifications, addenda, and project updates.
The procurement appears to have no specific set-aside designations or restrictions on organizational types, suggesting open competition for qualified contractors. While the state is listed as Puerto Rico, the project is actually located in Plymouth Township, indicating a potential administrative classification discrepancy. The project manual and plans are available electronically, with three documents totaling approximately 20MB, including an addendum dated August 22, 2025. Though specific budget ranges are not explicitly stated, the requirement for 10% bid security suggests the project has substantial financial scope. No incumbent vendors or existing contractors are mentioned in the documentation, and no specific integration requirements with existing infrastructure are detailed beyond the sewer main replacement specifications. Interested bidders should carefully review all project documentation, particularly the project manual and plans, to fully understand the technical requirements and submission guidelines.
