About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) in Dallas County, Texas is soliciting bids for the procurement of a Spring Sub-Assembly, LH, CHA, Pantograph component. This purchase order opportunity, posted on February 26, 2026, with a response deadline of March 6, 2026, requires vendors to submit competitive bids through the BONFIRE registration system. The procurement requires all bids to reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Delivery timelines are critical to this procurement, with the contract stipulating that time and rate of deliveries are essential terms; failure to meet specified delivery schedules constitutes grounds for rejection and default termination by the Authority. Vendors must ensure that all supplies meet merchantable quality standards, are suitable for their intended purpose, and comply with all product descriptions and specifications referenced in the purchase order. The submission process requires vendors to access the detailed BidTable within the BONFIRE system, which contains project specifications and vendor response fields accessible after initiating the "Prepare Your Submission" process.

The contract terms and conditions document does not explicitly identify any set-aside designations or restrictions specific to disadvantaged enterprises, women-owned businesses, or minority-owned businesses in the available procurement documentation. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the posted materials. DART's standard payment terms are Net 30, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and payment due 30 days from invoice receipt or 30 days from order receipt, whichever is later, unless alternative terms are agreed upon in writing. The contract is governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County, and all vendors must certify compliance with requirements regarding foreign terrorist organizations and boycott of Israel prohibitions. The specific award value or budget range for this procurement is not disclosed in the available documentation; interested vendors should consult the complete Purchase Order Terms and Conditions PDF and detailed BidTable specifications for comprehensive procurement details and pricing requirements.
