About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) has initiated a procurement opportunity for a specific equipment item: a yellow Dynatron spreader measuring 3" x 6", identified by solicitation number 2097409. The procurement is specifically for Dallas County, Texas, with bids being accepted from January 7, 2026, through January 14, 2026. Potential vendors must complete Bonfire registration to access complete bid details and must submit proposals reflecting FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price. Critical performance requirements include strict adherence to delivery timelines, with DART emphasizing that time and rate of deliveries are essential, and failure to meet specified delivery schedules could result in order rejection or default termination. Vendors must submit invoices electronically to APInvoices@dart.org, with detailed documentation including purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. The procurement process mandates compliance with DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which outline comprehensive commercial and legal requirements for potential suppliers.

The contract opportunity does not explicitly specify set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises within the provided documentation. DART's terms and conditions do, however, include requirements for equal opportunity employment practices and certifications regarding foreign terrorist organizations and Israel boycott restrictions. The payment terms are consistently defined as Net 30, with invoices paid 30 days from receipt or 30 days from order date, whichever is later. While specific award value or budget range is not disclosed in the available documentation, the procurement appears focused on a specific equipment procurement with standardized commercial terms. The contract will be governed by Texas law, with any disputes subject to venue in Dallas County. Potential vendors should carefully review the complete Purchase Order Terms and Conditions PDF, which establishes the comprehensive framework for participation in this procurement opportunity.
