About this opportunity

The state and local contract opportunity, identified as SPACER | 2096640, is a procurement initiative by the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) in Dallas County, Texas. While specific details about the procurement's exact goods or services are not fully disclosed in the provided documentation, the opportunity requires vendors to register through Bonfire to access complete bid details. The procurement emphasizes strict delivery and performance standards, with time and rate of deliveries considered essential elements of the contract. Vendors must adhere to FOB Destination shipping terms, including freight costs in their overall pricing, and understand that failure to meet delivery specifications could result in contract termination. The bid is due on December 16, 2025, with a posted date of December 9, 2025, and requires comprehensive documentation including purchase order details, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.

The contract opportunity does not explicitly outline specific set-aside designations or restrictions on responding organizations. However, the terms and conditions document indicates several important compliance requirements, including equal opportunity and non-discrimination provisions, certifications regarding foreign terrorist organizations, and Israel boycott restrictions. The payment terms are standardized at Net 30, with invoices to be submitted electronically to APInvoices@dart.org in triplicate format. While no specific award value or budget range is provided, vendors should be prepared to meet DART's rigorous commercial warranty requirements covering merchantable quality and intended use suitability. The contract will be governed by Texas law, with any disputes subject to resolution within Dallas County, and all modifications require written authorization from the Contracting Officer.
