The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is requesting information on sources for design and build of a covered parking structure for fighter aircraft F-35, with responses due June 29, 2026. This is a Sources Sought notice, a market-research instrument that does not constitute a formal request for proposals or binding procurement action.

The procurement is classified under NAICS code 236220 for Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The structure is to be located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
FDOT is soliciting information from potential contractors regarding qualifications, experience, and proposed approach. Respondents should demonstrate relevant experience with metal roof canopy structures, aircraft facility design, and design-build delivery methods, particularly those involving specialized structures for aerospace or military applications. This notice allows FDOT to evaluate the competitive landscape and refine project requirements before issuing a formal solicitation.
