About this opportunity
The City of Philadelphia is soliciting quotes on a sound calibrator as a micro purchase under PHLContracts, with quotes due June 5, 2026. The award will go to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; sellers must quote all items to be eligible for award, and work or delivery shall not commence until the department notifies the awardee.
A Consent and Authorization Agreement is mandatory prior to bid closing and may be submitted either during vendor profile registration or as an attachment to the first quote. The agreement binds vendors to quotes submitted electronically through PHLContracts and requires designation of a Seller Administrator with account oversight and secure-browser use. Signature requirements vary by entity type: corporations require signatures from both a President or Vice President and a Secretary or Treasurer; limited liability companies, partnerships, and sole proprietorships require signatures from a partner, owner, or other duly authorized signer. Questions regarding compliance should be directed to PHLContracts Customer Service at 215-686-4755, 215-686-4720, 215-686-4721, or PHLContracts@phila.gov.
The micro purchase may be awarded as a whole or by line item, whichever serves the City's best interest. A voluntary LGBTQ Applicant Data Form is available for applicants to self-identify LGBTQ business ownership or certification status and to disclose certifications from organizations including the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce through its Philadelphia affiliate, the Independence Business Alliance, or the Pennsylvania Unified Certification Program. Submission of the demographic form is optional, and applicants agree that the City may use submitted data for other projects and make it publicly available. The Local Business Entity Program does not apply to small order purchases, but the associated question must be answered to proceed through the PHLContracts submission workflow.
