About this opportunity
The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) is issuing an electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) on behalf of Southern Regional Technical College (SRTC) to procure three Stryker Power Pro 2 6507 High Configuration stretchers for the Paramedicine Technology Program. This one-time purchase is being conducted under the State Purchasing Act and is specifically targeted at acquiring medical training equipment to enhance student learning and workforce preparation. No substitutions will be considered, and Stryker is the sole brand deemed acceptable due to its compatibility with the program's instructional goals and ability to provide a consistent, high-fidelity learning experience. The eRFQ was posted on September 12, 2025, with proposals due by September 29, 2025. Potential bidders seeking technical assistance with system registration or bid document access can contact the Department of Administrative Services (DOAS) Customer Service Help Desk by phone at 404-657-6000 or email at ProcurementHelp@doas.ga.gov during standard business hours.
The procurement appears to have no specific set-aside designations or restrictions on organizational respondents. While the solicitation is limited to a single vendor for Stryker stretchers, there are no explicit requirements regarding disadvantaged enterprise participation or vendor qualifications beyond the ability to supply the specified equipment. The total procurement value is implied to be for three stretchers, though an exact budget range is not specified in the document. The procurement is focused on direct equipment acquisition for educational purposes, with the primary objective of providing SRTC students with hands-on training equipment that mirrors real-world medical response tools. The sole source nature of the procurement suggests a precise fit between the specific Stryker stretcher model and the educational program's training requirements, indicating a strategic approach to equipment selection that prioritizes instructional effectiveness and workforce readiness.
Opportunity text
Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated §§50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) is being issued by the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) on behalf of Southern Regional Technical College (SRTC) to establish a one-time purchase with one qualified supplier who will provide Stryker Power Pro 2 stretchers to the Paramedicine Technology Program (hereinafter, the State Entity) as further described in this eRFQ. The Paramedicine Technology Program is requesting the purchase of three (3) 6507 Power Pro 2 High Configuration stretchers for several important educational, safety, and clinical competency reasons within their lab environment. Substitutions will not be considered for this purchase. The stretchers will be used to train SRTC students and provide practice with the actual equipment used in real-life settings. These stretchers will enhance student learning and better prepare SRTC students with the hands-on experience to make a seamless transition into the workforce. Due to this compatibility and standardization across all campuses, Stryker is the only brand option that fully supports the program's instructional goals and provides a consistent, high-fidelity learning experience. For technical assistance with system registration, accessing the bid event or accessing the bid documents, contact the DOAS Customer Service Help Desk by phone at 404-657-6000 or by email at ProcurementHelp@doas.ga.gov, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding State Holidays or any other day state offices are closed such as furlough days or closings in response to inclement weather.
