About this opportunity
Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking electrical procurement for a high-resistance relay and structure project referenced as bid 2096402. The opportunity is specifically located within Dallas County, Texas, and requires vendors to complete registration through the Bonfire platform to access full bid details. Potential contractors must submit comprehensive proposals addressing electrical relay structures with specific high-resistance capabilities by December 3, 2025. All submissions must include detailed pricing reflecting FOB Destination shipping terms, with freight costs integrated into the overall quoted price. Vendors must provide complete documentation including purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Bidders are expected to demonstrate technical expertise in electrical infrastructure components and comply with DART's strict delivery and performance standards. The procurement process emphasizes precise delivery schedules, with failure to meet specified timelines potentially resulting in order rejection or default termination.
While no specific set-aside designations or disadvantaged enterprise requirements are explicitly stated in the available documentation, vendors must meet DART's rigorous contractual and performance standards. The procurement allows for competitive bidding among qualified electrical infrastructure suppliers capable of providing high-resistance relay and structure components. Payment terms are uniformly established at Net 30, with invoices to be submitted electronically to APInvoices@dart.org in triplicate format. Contractors should anticipate a comprehensive review process and be prepared to provide detailed documentation demonstrating technical capability and compliance with DART's procurement guidelines. Though specific budget ranges are not disclosed, the technical complexity of the electrical infrastructure project suggests a potentially substantial contract value. Interested vendors must carefully review the Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document and complete the Bonfire registration process to access full bid specifications and response requirements.

Invoices shall be submitted (APInvoices@dart.org) in triplicate (one copy shall be marked 'Original"), unless otherwise specified, and shall contain the following information: purchase order number; item number; purchase order description of supplies, services, or construction; sizes; quantities; unit prices; and extended totals. In such event, the Seller shall be liable for damages, including the excess cost of reprocuring similar supplies or services or completing construction; provided that, if (i) it is determined for any reason that the Seller was not in default, or (ii) the Seller's failure to perform is without his and his subcontractor's control, fault, or negligence, the termination shall be deemed to be a termination for convenience under paragraph 12.
