About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking bids for the procurement of nylon abrasive cable sleeves, specifically rolls of 300 feet in length (item number 2097630). This is a purchase order procurement posted on January 22, 2026, with a submission deadline of January 29, 2026. Vendors must register through the BONFIRE system to access the detailed bid table and project specifications. The procurement requires FOB Destination shipping terms with all freight costs included in the overall bid price, and delivery time and rate are identified as essential to the order, with seller failure to meet delivery specifications constituting grounds for rejection and default termination. Sellers are responsible for performing all inspections and tests to verify conformance with specifications, and payment will be made on Net 30 terms with invoices submitted to APInvoices@dart.org in triplicate, including the purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. All purchase orders are subject to DART's standard Terms and Conditions, which are available in the supporting documentation section.

No set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, incumbent vendors, or specific budget ranges are detailed in the available procurement documentation. The contract will be governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County, and any disputes will be resolved through the Contracting Officer with appeal rights to the Authority. Vendors must comply with all standard contractual provisions, including equal employment opportunity requirements, commercial warranty obligations, and certifications regarding foreign terrorist organizations and Israel boycotts. Claims for changes or equitable adjustments must be asserted within 30 days of the occurrence giving rise to the claim. The specific award value or budget allocation for this procurement has not been disclosed in the posted opportunity documents.
