About this opportunity
Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking to procure SLEEVE, NYLON, ABRASIVE, CABLE, ASM. ,TSS, ROLL OF 300 FT through a competitive procurement process covering Dallas County and multiple Dallas City jurisdictions. The solicitation was posted on January 12, 2026, with proposals due by January 19, 2026. Potential vendors must complete Bonfire registration to access complete bid details and submit responses through the platform's in-browser BidTable. The specific procurement involves cable assembly sleeves packaged in 300-foot rolls, with strict delivery and performance requirements. Vendors must adhere to FOB Destination shipping terms, including freight costs in their overall pricing, and understand that delivery timing is critical - failure to meet specified delivery schedules could result in order rejection or default termination. Invoicing must be submitted electronically to APInvoices@dart.org in triplicate, containing specific details such as purchase order number, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.
The procurement appears open to all qualified vendors without specific set-aside designations or enterprise restrictions noted in the available documentation. Payment terms are standardized at Net 30, with invoices processed 30 days from receipt of invoice or order, whichever is later. The purchase order is governed by DART's standard Terms and Conditions, which include warranties that supplies must be of merchantable quality, suitable for intended use, and compliant with product specifications. Vendors must comply with equal opportunity employment requirements and provide certifications regarding foreign terrorist organizations and Israel boycott prohibitions. While specific award value is not disclosed, the procurement suggests a standard commercial transaction for specialized cable assembly sleeves. All contractual matters will be subject to Texas law, with any potential legal venues located in Dallas County. Vendors should carefully review the attached Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document for comprehensive procurement guidelines and expectations.
