About this opportunity

The State of Florida, through the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB), is seeking a single source provider for the Web-Based Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) suite of products, including MAP Growth, MAP Accelerator, and MAP Reading Fluency. NWEA is identified as the sole owner and provider of these proprietary assessment tools, which include exclusive scoring and reporting software, a research database, and content partnerships. The MAP Growth assessment offers unique features such as adaptiveness without grade-level boundaries, student-level data on college and career readiness, district-level growth analytics, and extensive accessibility features. The estimated not-to-exceed value for this single source contract is $7,025.00, and the deadline for responses is July 18, 2023.

FSDB has classified this as a single source procurement, as NWEA is the sole provider of the MAP suite of products. However, the agency is inviting vendors that believe they can fulfill this requirement to provide information on their capabilities within the 15-business day advertising period. A determination will then be made by the agency on whether to conduct a competitive procurement. There are no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond, and no incumbent vendors or current contractors are listed. The available budget range for this contract is not explicitly stated.
