Installation must be completed by January 20, 2020, and the University reserves the right to conduct oral presentations, product demonstrations, and site visits before making an award determination.
The procurement includes specific supplier diversity program requirements, targeting minority-owned businesses with a 5% goal and women-owned and disabled veteran-owned businesses with a 1% goal. Bidders must have been in the signage business for at least three years and provide three client references from comparable institutions. Contractors are required to maintain a minimum five-year warranty on all items and parts, provide certificates of insurance naming the Board of Regents as an additional insured with minimum coverage of $1,000,000 for commercial general and automobile liability, and pass criminal background checks. Payment will be processed net 30 days following acceptance and successful completion of acceptance testing within 10 days of installation. While no specific award value or budget range was disclosed, the University does not guarantee any minimum purchase quantity or dollar amount.
