The procurement is divided into two lots: Lot #1 (Traffic Division) comprises 30 items ranging from 4" x 4" to 48" x 72" sign blanks with estimated annual quantities of 5 to 500 units per item, and Lot #2 (Parks & Recreation Division) comprises 12 items of undrilled blanks ranging from 6" x 8" to 24" x 60" with quantities between 15 and 150 units per item. All aluminum sign blanks must conform to specific technical requirements, including .080 gauge thickness, 5052-H38 aluminum material, and #1200 Alodine finish with proper degreasing and deburring. Responses must be submitted by January 7, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. local time to the Palm Beach County Purchasing Department. The successful vendor will be awarded a 12-month term contract with four optional 12-month renewal periods, subject to mutual written agreement and fund appropriation. Pricing must be submitted as fixed unit prices with all shipping and freight charges included, remaining firm for 90 days from opening and throughout the contract term. Deliveries must occur within 30 calendar days of receipt of delivery orders on an F.O.B. destination basis. Palm Beach County will award contracts on a lot-by-lot basis to the lowest responsive and responsible quoter while applying Small/Minority/Women-Owned Business Enterprise (S/M/WBE) preferences and local preference provisions. Small businesses certified by Palm Beach County that bid within 10 percent of the lowest bid may receive preference consideration. Local preference of up to 5 percent may be applied to quoters maintaining permanent places of business in Palm Beach County or the Glades area. All vendors must be registered in the County's Vendor Self Service (VSS) system and maintain current business tax receipts and applicable licenses throughout contract performance.
