About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for the procurement of a shunt pantograph measuring 35MM x 375MM under contract opportunity number 2098140. This purchase order, posted on February 26, 2026, with a deadline of March 6, 2026, requires vendors to submit bids through the BONFIRE registration system, with detailed specifications and vendor response fields accessible through the in-browser BidTable. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall quoted price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Delivery timelines are emphasized as essential to contract performance, with the seller's failure to meet specified delivery schedules constituting grounds for rejection and default termination. Invoices must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and include the purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Payment will be issued on a Net 30 basis, calculated from either the invoice receipt date or order receipt date, whichever is later, unless alternative terms are agreed upon in writing. All supplies must meet merchantable quality standards and comply with specifications, and vendors must provide the most favorable commercial warranties offered to any customer.
The procurement is governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County. All vendors must comply with DART's equal opportunity requirements and certifications regarding foreign terrorist organization designations, as well as provisions prohibiting boycotts of Israel. The opportunity does not specify set-aside designations or restrictions limiting participation to particular categories of vendors, such as disadvantaged enterprises or minority-owned businesses, based on the available documentation. No incumbent vendors, current contractors, or existing infrastructure integration requirements are identified in the posted materials. The contract opportunity documentation does not disclose a specific award value or budget range for this procurement, and interested bidders should access the complete BidTable through the BONFIRE system for detailed pricing information and project specifications.
