About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for the procurement of an external shunt component (SHUNT, EXTERNAL, PM-9267, Opportunity ID 2098282) through a competitive purchase order process. The procurement is administered by the Dallas County jurisdiction in Texas and is open for bidding through the Bonfire registration platform. Vendors must submit responses by the posted due date of March 23, 2026, with the opportunity having been posted on March 12, 2026. The deliverable is a specific medical or technical shunt component that must meet DART's product specifications and quality standards. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall bid price, and DART emphasizes that timely delivery is essential to order fulfillment. Vendors are required to provide commercial warranties ensuring supplies are of merchantable quality and suitable for their intended purpose, and failure to meet specified delivery schedules constitutes grounds for order rejection and default termination. Detailed project specifications and vendor response fields are accessible through the Bonfire BidTable platform once vendors initiate the "Prepare Your Submission" process.

The procurement documents do not explicitly identify any set-aside designations or restrictions limiting responses to disadvantaged enterprises, minority-owned businesses, or other protected classifications based on the available information. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the provided documentation. The complete Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, available for download in the Supporting Documentation section, govern all aspects of the procurement and establish the contractual framework between DART and successful bidders. Payment terms are Net 30, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and payment calculated from the later of invoice receipt or order receipt date. The specific award value or budget range for this procurement is not disclosed in the posted opportunity materials and would be determined based on submitted bids and DART's procurement evaluation process.
