About this opportunity
The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities cancelled its eRFQ for Short-Term Acute Crisis Stabilization Services (DBH0000596) on December 29, 2022, after originally posting on October 20, 2022. The solicitation is no longer active.
The eRFQ had sought to establish a contract with one or more qualified suppliers to provide short-term acute crisis stabilization bed capacity for Georgia children and adolescents with acute psychiatric and behavioral health needs. The agency stated that multiple awards to qualified offerors were possible, though no guaranteed number of hospital beds was promised to successful offerors; referrals would have been made on an as-needed basis.
The cancellation was initiated due to the need to redevelop requirements. All materials submitted under the current solicitation remain closed pending the state's rebid. Should DBHDD elect to conduct a new solicitation, all suppliers will be required to respond to new bid forms and updated requirements for consideration of award. Upon issuance of a Notice of Intent to Award for any subsequent solicitation, all records will be made available in accordance with Georgia Procurement Manual provisions for public access to procurement information.
Opportunity text

This eRFQ serves to increase short-term acute crisis stabilization bed capacity for Georgia children and adolescents with acute psychiatric behavioral health needs. This eRFQ may result in multiple awards to qualified Offerors. These statements do not guarantee contracting for any number of hospital beds to successful Offeror(s). DBHDD or its agents will make appropriate referrals of individuals to successful Offeror(s) on as need basis.
