About this opportunity
Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking a vendor to supply a shock absorber, vertical, as referenced by solicitation number 2094516. The procurement opportunity was posted on August 25, 2025, with a response deadline of August 28, 2025. Potential vendors must complete Bonfire registration to access full bid details and must submit their proposal through the platform's in-browser BidTable window. The procurement requires strict adherence to specific freight and delivery terms, with FOB Destination shipping being the preferred method and freight costs to be included in the overall pricing. Vendors must understand that time and rate of delivery are critical, and failure to meet specified delivery schedules could result in rejection and potential default termination by DART. The solicitation requires detailed invoicing with specific documentation, including purchase order number, item number, description of supplies, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. All submissions must be accompanied by comprehensive documentation and meet the stringent terms and conditions outlined in the attached Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document.
The contract opportunity does not explicitly specify set-aside designations or restrictions on vendor types. However, the attached terms and conditions include equal opportunity employment provisions and require vendors to certify they are not associated with foreign terrorist organizations and do not boycott Israel. Payment terms are standardized at Net 30, with invoices to be submitted electronically to APInvoices@dart.org. While no specific award value or budget range is mentioned for this specific shock absorber procurement, vendors should be prepared to provide competitive pricing and meet DART's technical specifications. The contract will be governed by Texas state law, with venue in Dallas County, and includes provisions for commercial warranties, tax-exempt status, and potential termination for convenience or default. Vendors must be prepared to comply with all regulatory requirements and demonstrate the capability to provide high-quality vertical shock absorbers that meet DART's operational standards.
