About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is procuring protective overspray sheeting in 16-foot rolls (Opportunity No. 2097844). This is a purchase order procurement with a submission deadline of February 10, 2026, for a commodity item commonly used in maintenance and construction operations. The specific quantities, specifications, and detailed project requirements are accessible through the BONFIRE registration system and the in-browser BidTable, which vendors must access by initiating the "Prepare Your Submission" process. Bidders must provide all pricing on an FOB Destination basis with freight costs included in the overall bid price, and delivery timing is critical to the procurement with strict performance expectations outlined in DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions. All submitted invoices must include the purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals, and must be sent in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org. The evaluation will be conducted in accordance with DART's established procurement procedures and the terms outlined in the supporting Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document, with payment to be made on a Net 30 basis from either invoice receipt or order receipt, whichever is later.

The procurement documents do not specify any set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, or preferences for particular types of vendors, indicating this is an open competitive procurement available to all qualified suppliers. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available materials, nor are there specific technology integration requirements detailed. The opportunity does not disclose an estimated award value or budget range; however, the commodity nature of the procurement and standard DART terms suggest this is a straightforward goods purchase with pricing as the primary evaluation factor. Vendors should note that DART is exempt from Texas state and local sales and use taxes, and all procurement decisions and disputes shall be governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County.
