The scope covers excavation, embankment, base aggregate, hot mix asphalt pavement, concrete curb and gutter, traffic control, pavement marking, permanent signing, and incidental items shown on the plans. The contract includes utility relocations by Charter Communications, starting January 1, 2027, and Frontier Communications, starting December 15, 2026, each completing within 60 days. The contractor must provide 3 calendar days' notice for shoulder closures and 3 business days' notice for lane and ramp closures. Work is restricted during Memorial Day, Independence Day, Menominee Nation Contest Pow Wows, and Labor Day periods. A Tribal Coordination Meeting is required between contract execution and the pre-construction meeting.
