About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) has issued a state and local contract opportunity for procurement of a SHAFT, FAN with the solicitation number 2096910. The contract opportunity was posted on December 10, 2025, with proposals due by December 17, 2025, specifically targeting vendors capable of supplying fan equipment or related shaft components for transit infrastructure. Bonfire registration is mandatory to access complete bid details, and vendors must navigate through the platform's "Prepare Your Submission" process to view the full project specifications. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs integrated into the overall price, and DART will not accept alternative shipping arrangements. Vendors must strictly adhere to delivery schedules, as time and delivery rates are considered essential contract elements, with failure to meet specified delivery parameters potentially resulting in order rejection or default termination. Comprehensive documentation, including a detailed Purchase Order Terms and Conditions PDF, outlines specific submission requirements, with invoices mandated to be submitted electronically to APInvoices@dart.org in triplicate format.

The contract opportunity appears to be open to all qualified vendors without explicit set-aside designations or enterprise restrictions. Payment terms are standardized at Net 30, with invoices processed 30 days from receipt of either the invoice or purchase order, whichever occurs later. While specific budget ranges are not explicitly stated, the procurement process requires vendors to provide detailed pricing structures including unit prices, quantities, and extended totals. The contract is governed by Texas state law, with any potential legal disputes having venue in Dallas County. Vendors must also provide certifications regarding compliance with regulations about foreign terrorist organizations and Israel boycott restrictions. The solicitation emphasizes commercial warranty requirements, ensuring all supplies and services meet merchantable quality standards and are suitable for their intended operational purpose within DART's transit infrastructure.
