About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for the purchase of a set screw, hammer, and gong (HS011-0044) through this procurement opportunity posted on January 16, 2026, with a deadline for submission on January 23, 2026. The procurement is being conducted on behalf of Dallas County, Texas, and is open to qualified vendors capable of meeting DART's operational and delivery requirements. While the specific technical specifications, quantities, and detailed deliverables are contained within the restricted BidTable accessible through the Bonfire registration system, bidders must ensure all quotations reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price. Vendors are required to comply with DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which mandate Net 30 payment terms, timely delivery as essential to contract performance, and submission of invoices in triplicate to the designated email address (APInvoices@dart.org). The evaluation criteria emphasize compliance with delivery schedules, pricing competitiveness, and adherence to all contractual terms and conditions established by DART.
No specific set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, or incumbent vendor information has been identified in the available procurement documentation. The solicitation does not indicate restrictions limiting eligible respondents to particular categories of organizations, though all vendors must comply with federal and state requirements including equal employment opportunity provisions, certification regarding terrorist organization affiliations, Israel boycott compliance, and Texas law compliance with venue in Dallas County. The procurement documentation does not provide a specific budget allocation or award value range; however, pricing should reflect reasonable market rates for the identified components with all applicable taxes and duties included, as DART is exempt from Texas sales and use taxes. Interested vendors must initiate the "Prepare Your Submission" process through Bonfire to access the complete BidTable containing project details and vendor response fields necessary to submit a competitive bid before the January 23, 2026 deadline.
