About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is issuing a purchase order for sensors, speed assemblies, and related components (Item #2098882). This procurement is open to qualified vendors capable of supplying these parts in accordance with DART's standardized purchasing framework. The specific goods being procured are speed sensor assemblies and associated components for DART's transit operations, though detailed specifications and exact quantities are accessible only through the BONFIRE registration system by initiating the "Prepare Your Submission" process. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, and vendors must warrant that products meet merchantable quality standards and comply with all specifications. Delivery time and rate are critical requirements, with failure to meet specified delivery schedules constituting grounds for order rejection and default termination. The bid submission deadline is April 27, 2026, with the posting date of April 20, 2026, providing a seven-day response window for interested vendors.
The procurement is governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County, and all vendors must comply with standard compliance certifications including equal employment opportunity requirements, verification that they are not identified on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with foreign terrorist organization connections, and certification that they do not boycott Israel. The available documentation does not identify specific set-aside designations, incumbent vendors, or current contractor restrictions, though these details may be contained within the full bid specifications accessible through the BONFIRE system. Payment terms are established at Net 30, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org, payable 30 days from invoice receipt or order receipt, whichever is later. No specific award value or budget range is disclosed in the publicly available opportunity documentation, though such information may be contained in the detailed bid specifications within the BONFIRE registration system.

In such event, the Seller shall be liable for damages, including the excess cost of reprocuring similar supplies or services or completing construction; provided that, if (i) it is determined for any reason that the Seller was not in default, or (ii) the Seller's failure to perform is without his and his subcontractor's control, fault, or negligence, the termination shall be deemed to be a termination for convenience under paragraph 12.
